How should I submit my photos to the web site?                  

The only workable method of delivering a number of high quality photos is to save them on a compact disc (CD). Mail the disc to the webmaster or hand deliver them at the club.

Why can't I just give copies of my prints?

To use a print on the web site it must first be scanned. This takes a lot of time and rarely results in a usable photo file. Hard copy prints will NOT be accepted.

But I scan things and they come out fine.

If you can produce good quality photo files on your scanner then scan your prints and put them on a CD and send them in.

I sent in a lot of pictures but only a few were used.

This could take a volume to explain, but here it is in a nutshell:
Do not send in pictures that would embarrass another member.
Do not send in multiple photos with almost the same subject, pick the best shot.
Identify the event that you are documenting. Do not send photos that are a mystery.

I do not know how to put my pictures on a CD.

Take your negatives, or photo sticks to Walgreens, BJ's, Costco, or any of a number of outlets that are anxious to help you with this. You can select which photos you want on a screen, and avoid sending photos that are not usable.
