	Pattaconk Yacht Club is an active power cruising club with over 200 members and 125 permanent slips. The location of the club on the Connecticut River in Chester CT puts the slips in fresh water. Members regularly cruise the waters of Long Island Sound and Block Island, and occasionally venture to Boston, Nantucket, the upper Hudson River, and the Intra-coastal waterway. The club offers four dinner parties and two picnic events per year, plus a number of informal barbeques, breakfasts, and picnics.  An annual cruising rendezvous is held usually in the Long Island Sound waters.

MEMBER NOTICES:	WiFi is available at PYC!  The PYC WiFi Network is up and running.  The network name is "pyc52", and to gain access,  enter the same password as the Members Page on the website.  The system seems to be providing strong access in all areas of the club property, but we'll have to keep an eye on it to make sure all the bugs are worked out.  If anyone does have problems connecting, please let me know. Mark Fortier led the technical effort, and Brian Platt, Dave Roberts, and Jim Levanti were heavily involved in the installation.  Our thanks go out to them!     - Joe Bevivino
