Special Projects
Occasionally significant repair tasks are completed by the club members. When a project is beyond the expertise of the membership, outside contractors are hired to complete the tasks.
We are fortunate that many of the club members have exceptional skills and licenses, and that they are willing to apply their talents to maintaining the facility.
Maintenance
Much of the maintenance of the club infrastructure is done by the members, and it is mandatory that each member participate in (2) work parties per year.
We maintain our own docks, including pulling the ramps in the fall and securing the docks in the center of the basin. The fuel dock is de-commissioned and moved to the basin. Water and electricity to the docks are shut off.
In the spring, another work party is dedicated to putting the docks back in place and restoring the services.
